Friends of the North Indian River County Library
PO Box 781313 Sebastian FL 32978 Telephone: 772-589-1355 (C) The Friends play an important part in enhancing and maintaining a vital library for our area. The group honors the library volunteers with an annual luncheon. It buys books, videos, audio books, computers, book repair equipment, and other materials for the library. It sponsors the Children's Programs and the Film Series. Members advocate library interests to citizens and officials in the local, state, and national communities. They deliver library items to homebound residents. And the group purchases a book in the name of each new baby born to parents living in our area. The group meets on the first Monday of February, May, and November (and the second Monday of September) from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in the library meeting room. Bring a bag lunch -- beverage and dessert provided.
