As a CCIRC Member, Your Events, Openings, Fundraisers, Honors, Business News and other important cultural information is important to us. As a member, please know you are supporting local artwork in public buildings, community calendar coordination and nonprofit collaboration in your community.

Cultural Connection, A free, color advertisement that appears every Monday in the Press Journal, sponsored by Falasiri Oriental Rugs, on the back page of the Indian River County Section is a benefit to members of the Cultural Council. To advertise, all you need to send is a short description & picture. The Deadline is 10 days prior to when you want it to appear. Example: If you want your ad to appear on May 12, the deadline is May 2. Around holidays, the deadlines may be earlier, please check current information posted each Monday on our website: www.cultural-council.org E-mail submissions are preferred: info@cultural-council.org
Website: Send your information anytime to info@cultural-council.org with “website update” in the subject line. Attach photos to the email. Members can update their listing at anytime. We offer a link from our website to yours. Our website address is: www.cultural-council.org.
Office Display: Flyers, brochures & business cards are all on display in our Cultural Information Center in Downtown Vero Beach. We have quite a bit of walk-in traffic and visitors pick up information on things to do all the time. Due to space limitations, we ask that you provide a limited number of brochures, limit is 50.
Links to other places: When you send us your information, the date is posted on the online calendar within 48 hours. From there, the information is linked to the Indian River Chamber of Commerce calendar, the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs and other publications that pull from our calendar.
Radio Promotion: The Cultural Council publicizes members’ events on two local radio programs. The Rhett Palmer Show plays the cultural calendar every weekday morning (1370 AM) from 8-10am and it is re-played in the afternoon from 3-5pm. The Cultural Council also enjoys a weekly spot every Thursday morning at 8:50am with Bob Soos’ Morning Magazine on 1490 AM.
Honor Those Who Help You: Members are eligible to nominate Indian River County cultural leaders for an Annual Laurel Award. These awards have recognized cultural excellence in our county since 1995.
Opportunities for Networking: Through the Cultural Advisory Committee, the Nonprofit Forum, open houses and CCIRC sponsored events, opportunities to network with other artists and cultural patrons are plentiful! Our meetings are always open to the public and posted on our website’s front page.
