Art in Public Places
The Cultural Council supports Public Art in Indian River County and serves in an advisory capacity for permanent installations of art purchased by the County and the City of Vero Beach through the Art In Public Places Committee. The Committee reviews and juries CCIRC member artists' work for rotating exhibitions in Indian River County and Vero Beach public buildings, coordinates and encourages Public Art projects with local government agencies and non-profit organizations and serves as an advocate for public art in Indian River County. The public art committee currently arranges for Artists Registry members to exhibit for a period of three months at our two Indian River County government venues - the Indian River County Courthouse and the Indian River County Administration Complex. For other exhibition opportunities from our members, contact the organizations below Sebastian River Art Club Art Around Town Sebastian River Art Club Members are currently exhibiting their work at Sebastian City Hall, Administration Building, North County Library, Sebastian River Chamber of Commerce and King Realty. Monthly outdoor shows in Riverview Park. Vero Beach Art Club Offers members an opportunity for group exhibitions at the Indian River County Main Library in addition to shows at the Vero Beach Museum of Art & Humiston Park.
